Information for clients

Why should I participate?

How does THE CHECK work?

More clarity about your development – in just a few steps

THE CHECK helps you to better understand your complaints and progress – simply and effortlessly.

1. Introduction in Practice

Your therapist will explain how THE CHECK works:

  • Only four short questions per session
  • Voluntary and anonymous
  • No prior medical knowledge required

You decide whether you want to participate – at your leisure. You can leave THE CHECK at any time.

Together with your therapist, you record:

  • What complaints you have (physical, mental, etc.)
  • How these limit you in everyday life (e.g. movement, concentration, sleep)
  • How you are doing overall

Your assessment is made using a simple scale – in writing or digitally. You will receive personal access data for an app that you can use – if you want to.

As a rule, feedback is given after the session, but it can also be given before or during the session. Depending on what you decide, you will be invited to answer three short questions:

  • Have your complaints changed?
  • How do these affect your life?
  • How are you doing overall today?

You can fill out the answers together with your therapist or simply in the mobile app. If you wish, you will receive a reminder before the next appointment.

At the end of the treatment series, you will see your progress in black and white:

  • Where were you at the beginning – where are you today
  • How much have complaints and limitations changed?
  • How do you rate the effect of the therapy yourself?
  • After three months, there will be a short follow-up question – to check for a long-term effect.
  • You recognize your progress – even small steps are made visible
  • You strengthen your personal responsibility
  • You see what works – and what has changed

THE CHECK helps you to consciously understand your own development. Simple. Clear. For you.
